Write an algebraic expression for the following:
The product of 2 consecutive odd integers, of which y is the first.

    Consecutive numbers mean numbers that are (immediately) next to each other.

    E.g.
    For whole numbers, that would be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...
    For even numbers, that would be 2, 4, 6, 8, ...
    For odd numbers, that would be 1, 3, 5, 7, ...
