Paper 1

ReplyDeleteNot really, but I think it is okay.

My mind went haywire and I forgot my primary school estimation techniques.

However, I managed to complete question 4 which I did not expect to complete on time.

No. I did not do my calculations fast enough so I missed some questions which proved to be costly as I nearly failed in paper 1.

ReplyDeletePaper 1

ReplyDeleteNo. Careless mistakes+no calculator. For example, I converted 630 mins- 6hrs 30mins

I didn't do well.

I didn't really put in more effort in comparison to the first test. :P

Paper 1

ReplyDeleteI did not get what I expected. I have a lot of calculation errors. I do not have enough time. I have done well in HCF and LCM, prime numbers and estimation. I put in more effort for this test but scored lower than the first test.

Paper 1

ReplyDeleteYes, it was expected

I had studied more

Nothing was wrong except or a bit of carelessness: it was supposed to be positive but i wrote negative

I have done well in the last question about the graph

I did not do enough practices to be familiar with the mathematical concepts.

ReplyDeletePaper 1

ReplyDeleteThe marks I got is below my expectations.

I was too careless in some questions(eg. forgetting to put dots on the number line).

The time given for the test was also too little-- I did not finish the bar graph.

I have done well in HCF and LCM.

The effort I put in is same as the first test.

JJ(:

No, I expected to pass the paper. I spent too much time on some questions and therefore had less time to complete the rest of the paper and thus was careless in doing the rest of the questions, for example I wrote down the numbers wrongly when I calculated it correctly. I have not done well as I did not use my time well in the paper.

ReplyDeletePaper 1

ReplyDeleteNot really, I did not expect myself to do very well and my score was just average... I was EXTREMELY careless in question 4. I could have gotten 6 more marks from my mistakes... and gotten 24/25. I spent too long finishing question 4, and did not have enough time to finish checking properly.

I did not do well for this paper...

No it is not wat i expected. Carelessness pulled my grades down alot. I did not have time to check and i only glanced through before putting down my pen and i divided wrongly. I done well in my graph and integers i guess...

ReplyDeletePaper 1

ReplyDeleteYes, I got what I expected. I was concentrating more on a hard question, and did not have time for the rest of the questions. I did not manage my time well. I was careless in my work and forgot that one was not a prime number. I did not really put a lot of effort into paper 1 as compared to my first test.

No, I expected myself to get higher and the problem is, I am too careless as I did my work too fast and wrote wrong answers. I have done well in overall but it was the the careless mistakes that pulled my marks down.

ReplyDeletepaper 1:

ReplyDeletei expected myself to lose some marks as i had performed at a too slow speed to finish the part of the last question but i had not expected to do so badly... :(

Paper 1

ReplyDeleteI am careless, partly due to time constraints. I have no time to check. Another reason is because I rush through the paper; one mistake I made is writing '1' as a prime number. Furthermore, I have forgotten to write the graph's title. Nevertheless, I have improved from the first paper, which I have failed miserably.

Paper 1:

ReplyDeleteMy paper's results were not what I expected. I did worse than I thought I would do. I had enough time to finish and check, but not check thoroughly because I had not enough time to check. The last few questions were done in a rush, so it was like in a total mess and I knew some questions would be wrong due to carelessness.

Paper 1:

ReplyDeleteN.O. NO... ==

I made more careless mistakes than usual. I reminded myself to remember to put arrows for the number line but i forgot on that day. I managed to list out all the common multiples without losing marks.

Paper 1:

ReplyDeleteNo, what I get is not what I expected.

Not enough practice is probably the reason why I did not do well. I also cannot really work fast, causing many questions to be unattempted. I also rely too much on calculators, causing my mental sums to deteriorate.

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteYes it was expected

The part that was wrong was that i forgot to put in the title for the questions with the line graph and pie chart which cost me to lose two marks and in the end my score was 23/25

No. I had expecte myself to get higher because obviously my carelessness made me loss 3 marks off the score.

ReplyDeleteI was careless

Example:

I didn't write the title for the bar graph resulting in loosing 1 mark for such a careless mistake.

I have put in more effort than i did for the first test.

Paper 1

ReplyDeleteI had expected a higher mark but did not do as well as I was quite careless when doing a few questions.

For example, there was a question asking for the HCF of 48 and 128. The answer should have been 2x2x2x2=16 but i missed out the last 2. Therefore, I lost 2 marks for that careless mistake.

I managed to complete the paper on time within the 30 minutes.

I feel that I had put in more effort in this test compared to the first one.

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteI was careless. For example, I did not label my graphs and lost 2 marks.

ReplyDeletePaper 1...

ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't expect it.

I am careless.

E.g. I skipped one question and I expect myself to return to that question afterwards. But, I forgot to do so.

I didn't read the questions carefully.

E.g. The question tells me to draw a bar graph but I drew a line graph.

I did as much as I could for the papers within the time limit.

Paper 1:

ReplyDeleteyes. I was unfamiliar with the some of the concepts and my calculations were not fast enough and ended up in using up alot of time.

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteNot really, but I think it is okay.

My mind went haywire and I forgot to add and subtract. Furthermore, my pie chart was a mess and I forgot my precious title!

However, I managed to complete the last question on time, and lucky me, one question was in the assessment I did!

Paper 2:

ReplyDeleteYes?? ==

I made lesser mistakes as i managed to complete algebraic questions without making the usual mistakes. I managed to explain the last question, the one about explaining the pie chart.

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteI have made too much careless mistakes. I should have been more careful. I should have check the paper more carefully...

Paper 1:

ReplyDeleteIs what you get is what you expected?

No.

What has happened???

I should have remembered that Maths test requires speed and accuracy.

Speed, Time

Pay more attention to my work & clarify the doubts immediately.

I have no idea how to compare the amount of efforts I put in for the first class test and this Maths Common test. However, I tried my best to get every mark for myself.

Paper 1: I believe i have put a bit more effort than test 1.

ReplyDeleteI think failing in the first test gave me the drive to study.

I think this is only a bit lesser than what i wanted

I did do a careless mistake which really pains me but i guess this is just a drive for the next test

Paper 2:

ReplyDeleteNo, it was not expected. I wrote the wrong calculations for question 6 and lost 3 marks. The other questions were careless.

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteThe marks I got is below my expectations.

I was too careless in some questions(eg. forgetting to show calculation in pie chart)--- Cost me 3 marks =.="

I have done well in line graph.

The effort I put in is same as the first test.

JJ(:

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteI did not expect to get so low for Paper 2, since it is easier when compared to Paper 1. I was careless again, and forgot to put in the title for the pie chart and I did not understand fully question 6(a)(ii). I did not elaborate more in 6(b) too. I definitely did not use my time well in this paper.

Paper 2:

ReplyDeleteNo, I expected to fail the paper. I forgot to add titles to the graphs and marked the points in the line graph wrongly as I was rushing for time after I ran out of time in Paper 1.

Paper 2.

ReplyDeleteWork not clear.

E.g. My workings are not clear.

I managed to complete the paper within the time limit.

Paper 2: for paper i expected a bit more but i guess just have to work harder

ReplyDeletePaper 2

ReplyDeleteI lost all my marks on the graph. It is either I didn't label the axis, write enough information or write the title. :'(

Paper 2

ReplyDeleteI feel I have not met my expectations.

I was careless as I drew a bar graph instead of a line graph for a question in the paper. I also did not give a title to my graphs.

I managed to complete the paper with little time left.

Paper 2: There were many careless mistakes and lost a whole lot of marks at the pie chart question...

ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.

ReplyDeletePaper 2

ReplyDeleteYes, it was expected. I forgot to write labels and title for the line graph and pie chart. I was careless in my work and missed out some information critical to the question.

paper 2:

ReplyDeletei did better than i expected...

i was careless in some areas which i had gone through before.

Paper 2:

ReplyDeleteNo, what I scored is not what I expected. Careless mistakes such as Q4 (b) My ans: (12+m)^4+3 X

Correct: 4(12+m)+3=(48+m)+3 √

caused my marks to go down.

Paper 2:

ReplyDeleteShouldn't have been so dependent on the calculator and should pay more attention to my work.

paper 2:

ReplyDeleteNo, I had many careless mistakes and thus i lost alot of marks

Paper 2:

ReplyDeleteNo, I did not expect to get such a mark. Then again, my carelessness has taken over again. I have loss 2 marks for the graph titles.

I was careless

I didn't write the graph titles for the charts, this has resulted for me to loose 2 marks.
